Account Deletion
Last updated: 13 June 2026
Delete your account in the app
You can delete your Riftr account directly in the mobile app:
- Open Riftr.
- Go to Profile.
- Open Edit Profile.
- Choose Delete Account and confirm the deletion.
Account deletion is processed by Riftr's server-side deletion flow and cannot be undone.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion by email:
Please send the request from the email address associated with your Riftr account. We may ask you to verify account ownership before deleting data.
Request deletion of specific data
You can also request deletion of specific Riftr data without deleting your full account, for example profile data, decks, collection data, listings, matches, app preferences or push-notification tokens.
Send your request to contact@getriftr.app and describe which data you want removed. Please send the request from the email address associated with your Riftr account so we can verify account ownership.
Some data may be retained where required for legal, security, abuse-prevention or dispute-handling reasons.
Data deleted
When your account is deleted, Riftr deletes or detaches account data that is no longer required, including:
- Account profile data, including display name and profile photo reference.
- Your decks, collection data, recorded matches and app preferences.
- Your active listings and seller profile data, unless retention is legally required.
- Reviews written by you and reviews stored under your account, where technically and legally possible.
- Push-notification tokens associated with your account.
Data retained
Some records may be retained where required for legal, security or abuse-prevention reasons. This may include:
- Pseudonymised DAC7/PStTG threshold and plausibility records required by law.
- Deletion audit records proving that the deletion request was completed.
- Order and tax records after the full marketplace launch, where statutory retention periods apply.
- Moderation, complaint or fraud-prevention records where retention is necessary for platform safety or legal defence.
- Stripe account references for sellers, where payment-forensics or statutory-retention duties apply after the marketplace launch.
Riftr is currently in beta mode. Real purchases and Stripe Connect onboarding are disabled during the beta, so payment data, banking data and KYC data are not processed by Riftr during this phase.
